Only the owner of the computer can say if something is still useful. If it still serves its purpose, then it is still useful. If I own the laptop you mentioned and i bought it so I can browse the net or play audio and video, then I can say it would still be useful. But if I am someone that is into beta testing of new software being introduced in the market, then this particular model might not be able to run the new programs thereby making it obsolete or non-useful.

75mhz! Wow that seems a bit slow even though I think it can still be used for the internet. THere is actually use for an old computer like that. It may or may not be worth it depending on what you think.

With an old computer like that you can set it up as a firewall station. Basically install a program that only does firewall services and plug your router into the computer and your computer into the computer also. It will not slow down your internet at all, but you are protected by a Firewall computer.

You might want to use it as a typing and printing station if you wanted to also. I wouldn't recomend multitasking as it might crash on you.

Probably. You could "slave" it to your home network and use it as a network drive, if you wanted. You could also sell it off for parts. But whatever you do, don't throw it in the trash: take it to Best Buy or a PC recycling place and dispose of it properly.

Yeah, you can either use or donate it. To use it, you can install Linux on the computer and experiment with it. Like others said, donate it to some charity groups.

If you play old games, totally! Many classic PC games run poorly or not at all on a modern system. Otheriwse, not really.
