if you had a choice between having a biological dad who keeps denying that kid and what's nothing to do with that kid or a fellow who isn't the kids dad but loves that kid like his own which one would you keep your kid near & should the mom go after child support once paternity is established & keep the biological dad away (since he has a record of child abuse) or let the kid continue to know the other man as the kids dad so the kid wouldn't be hurt in the furture?

the mom broke up with the fellow after finding out some bad stuff about him so now he doesn't want nothing to do with the kid & and says the kid isn't his & he knows the kid is his.

the fat cow this fellow is with now says the mother doesn't need support for this kid & that the mother is greedy. what does everybody think the mom should do?

The mother should stay with the guy who likes the kid. She should establish paternity and sue the jack a s s for child support and make him pay. Sounds like a real jerk. The fat one that the dad is with is the greedy one.

As a mother you 'owe' it to your children to allow them to know who their biological father is. I'm not saying to have your child in his custody, if he has a history of abuse.

Every parent regardless if it is the mother or father that has custody of the child should receive some financial support from the other parent, as well as to know who their parents are.
Just because one half does not act responsible you should not follow in there footsteps. You be the better person, better 'parent' and act as such.

Ignore his girlfriend and don't allow what really is important and is the issue - the child or children.

If more parents would act and be the 'parent' and not allow nonsense into the situation we would not have so many children that are 'messed' up in the head.

Best of Luck.

Just because he is the biological father does not mean he is best for the kid. She should go for child support as he is the father, but the true DAD is the one who cares about and for the child. He can know who his father is but will know who his Dad is.

Sue for child support and for sole custody of the child. If he has a history of abuse, she should get it hands down.

She can legally sue him for child support. She should have no problem winning. Then the will have cash to raise her kid with.
