I have 3 daughters ,ages 6,3 & 10 months,
1. My first was 4 hours from when I arrived at the hospital, no epidural, only the calming medication.
2.My second was scheduled induction and took from 6a.m to 2: 52pm.again no epidural, just a calming medication that makes you sleep in between contractions.
3. My third was not induced ,my water broke the night before I was SUPPOSED to go in for an induction and it's like she knew she was gonna'come out that day and decided to do it her self. I didn't have an epidural with her either, but I was sure screaming at the last minute for one! She had the biggest head than my other two! But being that I had already gave birth a coulple times ,I was very flexable and thank God she didn't rip me.They did give me the calming medication though!
I never was able to have a son, but thats too bad, cause'I don't want to do it again.I'm through with kids!

It is fun to share birthing stories though!
God Bless You!

I always said that if I had my daughter first, I would have NEVER had another child...fortunately had my son first! He was a breeze!
With son: went into labor 11:00pm went to hospital at 4:00am they gave me an epidural and he was born at 6:45am (total 7 hours 45 minutes)
With daughter: went into labor 10:00pm (went to the hospital right then) in labor ALL NIGHT, they gave me an epidural, but it didn't take so I felt EVERY PAIN.... she wasn't born until 1:30pm the next day (total 15 miserable hours) I wouldn't change it for anything though!

From the time of induction to the time the baby was announced it took just fours hours both times! I moved so quickly that I was able to get my epidural immediately and enjoy it the entire time! Also, I had no tearing or cutting so no stiches, not to mention during pregnancy I never had even an incling of morning sickness, I am truly blessed! In fact, I am better off pregnant than in my everyday state, but children cost too much and I have two boys so I think we're done and knowing my luck it would be another boy and I risk being commited to a mental institution with testosterone overload! Thanks for the fun question!

My son 27 1/2 hours, I pushed for 4 hours, he had a 15" head, I had a intrathecal which had worn off, and a saddle block (which also wore off)for the episiotomy.

THANK GOD my daughter was breech so it was a C section with an epidural, but the night before it was scheduled I went into slow labor so I was up all night with that.

I had my tubes tied while on the table with my daughter.

my son was 45 minutes (30 of which was in the car on the way to the hospital,) no time for an epidural. It freaked me out I thought I was going to have 14 more hours (the average labor for a first time mom) of active labor.

my daughter was 50 minutes, also no time for an epidural.

(I know, my sister in laws hate me too, lol)

It is determined by the institution and if it is individual or public from time to time. Some colleges pass by way of semesters and there are two semesters in a yr, others pass by way of quarters and there are four in a yr with breaks among each and every quarter. A ordinary semester scheduled institution, fall semester could begin in August and pass till December. There could be approximately three weeks to a month off earlier than Spring semester with spring semester finishing in May. June, July and side of August are off except you are taking summer season publications. Typically for an Associates measure it's two years, certifications a yr, Bachelor's measure four years, Masters measure two years and Phd two-three years. Med institution three-four, Law institution three years. Any institution that you're concerned about you'll pass to their internet site and seem for his or her educational calendar. Good good fortune!

Good for you! I had to be induced with my child(2 weeks late) and labor lasted. I also had an epidural about 4 hours into it but in my defense I was induced.
