simple fact of the matter is that I should be able to put anything into my body I want to w/o interference from the gubment. I, and I alone am the owner of my body, and I should be able to do whatever the heck I want to w/it. Period, end of story.

Marijuana smoking should be legalised everywhere.
It is a simple natural herb, which provides pleasure and relaxation, and has many beneficial medicinal properties. It relieves stress, reduces pain, and certain studies show that it can disipate asthma, and be beneficial to alzheimer's patients.
The reason it was made illegal in the first place was because the oil from the seeds can be used to fuel an engine, and so the oil lobby, along with the media who were making profits from cutting down trees, found a way to make it illegal. The law was passed as a part of the tax law, which introduced the name marijuana, so that nobody would realise that they were restricting the use of hemp.

My simple statement for the legalization of recreational drugs is this:

Any drug that can be used in its natural state without being chemically altered should be legal.

There has never been an OD on a plant or substance used in its natural state. An example of these would be: Marijauna; Peyote; and Mushrooms. Not that I do all of those but I have known people who have. Marijauna alone being legal would not only put farmers to work, and give tobacco companies another product, it would save billions of dollars a year in law enforcement man hours.

So, Yes it should be legal.

There are certainly worse drugs out there, and many states now have legalized medical use for the drug- which would apply in your case.

I'd say No. Think of the tax revenue potential here, and the reduction of the number of people in US Prisons.

Is the POT..the reason you don't finish sentences or spell correctly?.....
Everything is run together and it's really hard to understand......or understand by someone who doesn't smoke.
I'm not against it.......I don't think it should be legalized..but I also don't think it should be categorized along with harder and more dangerous drugs. This is a drug that in some states you are allowed to grow a certain amount if you have a doctors prescription....and its considered a misdemeanor instead of a felony.

I say yes. GOD put it on this earth for a reason. It is a natural remedy for alot of medical ailments and it is a necessary treatment for sufferers such as yourself. It is better to have it legal than to have people get it from dealers and not get it in the purest form.

It should, only to people over 21 and with job. or for any other proved medical use.

I believe there is more dangerous stuff out there that are legal. ie. alcohol, cigarettes, driving, even walking without a jacket will be more harmful

In my opinion, no it should not be legal. It should be decriminalized. That way the government won't tax and regulate the sale and use, but the casual user will be able to maintain their indulgence. As well as the sick and infirmed, like yourself.

I don't really care one way or the other, as long as they regulate it like they do alcohol. You know, like no coming stoned to work or no driving the school bus while under the influence. That kind of thing.

No, not legalized, I don't see that happening.
While I can see the benefits of decriminalizing marijuana use,
I think employers and insurance companies should reserve the right to not hire or insure you.
