ask the bald kid next to you what he uses

I've used both. Some electrics can give a pretty close shave, but the old straight razor is the best. I know that you continually have to buy blades, and shave cream, but it sure does give a nice shave.

Shaving the shower is the best. Electric razors irritate the skin.

Electric, straight razors hurt to much.

straight razor all the time. however, there is nothing wrong with using an electric or trimmer to shorten the stubble, making it easier and less abrasive on your skin to shave. best shave you'll ever have!

also i've heard it takes a certain amount of 'conditioning' for your face to get used to electric razors, meaning red patches on your face untill your skin gets used to it!

I want a first rate electric powered a million because I frequently get spots on my neck with those vicious without delay razors, and my electric powered a million would not reduce too close and that i love the problematic stubble feeling after.

definitely straight razor . . .

look at microscopic photos . . the straight razor cuts the hair - the electric razor tears it . . .

They both have their advantages. Try them both if you can and see which one you like. Your skin may be too sensitive for the straight razor.
