Why do people not wash thier hands after using the restroom?

That is one thing I was taught early on.

I don't understand how some people can use the restroom, having contact with thier body, expell waste and not wash thier hands.

sorry to be graphic, but that's how I see it.

Any human won't use the restroom on thier hands, silly, Lol.

However, if you use tissue or the biddet, you're still in some kind of contact with your waste.

Not many people were raised to wash their hands after they use the restroom. Some people might feel as though they didn't touch anything that would cause contamination, so they skip on the hand wash. There are many different reasons.

I am not sure why people don't wash their hands after using the restroom. I think it is a lazy and disgusting bad habit for some. Apparently they haven't watched all of the shows on TV that show the bacteria and germs that you can obtain while out in public. Feces on shopping carts, etc...

I do yet who cares, by way of fact in public places all of the people who do no longer wash their handa are touching an identical door you touched to go away, when you washed your hands and that they did'nt ,so i assume you're able to carrry around a sprint bottle of sanitizer gel with you reason there are nasty people germs everywhere!!!!!!!

Oh my God I always have that problem in my office building. So many women walk out of the bathroom without washing their hands. Nasty! I don't even touch anything, I use a paper towel I dry my hands with to open the door and I have a thing of Clorox disinfectant wipes at my desk.. LOL

Doesn't that make you ill? And men are good for doing it. It's like you have to listen after they finish peeing just to see if they're going to stop at the sink and use soap and water. But women, come on! We of all people know that we need to keep our hands clean after going to the ladies room. We have babies to take care of, we cook, we place our hands in out man's faces. Any person that doesn't wash their hands after going is in my opinion just plain trifling! And when I know people who do it,IF and I mean a big IF. IF I go to their home, I won't drink from their glasses or eat from their homes. I'm sorry that's just me! I'm a neat freak I admit it! And truly don't care who doesn't like it. I'm ill to the point where I color coordinate my closet, shoes, underwear EVERYTHING! However, I am on meds because my kids thought that I was crazy! I'm still a neat freak, I just don't scream anymore when things are out of place, I just put them back quietly! LOL! I'm not joking. But remember that cleanliness is next to Godliness! At least that's what my parents taught me.

My guess is three reasons:
1. They don't really think that they could get sick from not washing.

2. They are in a hurry and think this takes too much time (hand drying blowers).

3. People are generally pigs when no one is watching!

And some people that do wash, only just put their hands under the water quickly. To avoid germs, you really need to wash with warm water and soap for the length of the song "row row row your boat" sung twice!

I just rarely do. Sometimes I do if I feel my hands were dirty beforehand, or if I, heaven forbid, got them dirty while going to the bathroom, but mostly I do it when in public places where people- like you- will judge me for just doing my business and leaving.

Usually bathroom soaps disgust me. In my own home, where I have my favorite scented soap, I might wash just for the joy of it, not for any cleanliness reason. But in other places, I don't want my hands to stink of industrial grade antibacterial muck.

Bascially, I just don't see it as that big a deal. Unless, like I said, you made a mess and look or smell gross on your hands, or you tell someone, most people will never know, and it won't affect their lives. That's all.

Because they're gross and dont consider who is going to shake hands with them in the near future and i guess they want to spread their germs through the office
