If there is enough space between the edges, you can get a tube of wallpaper glue and you can use a toothpick, if the space is very small to lifting the edge and squirting glue on the wall and pressing the paper back against the wall. In all cases use something to smooth the paper and the edges to keep out air bubbles and a damp cloth to wipe off excessive glue.

FORGET EVERYTHING ABOVE!!!!

Once the wall paper starts separating, it curls, and becomes quite hard. Ordinary wallpaper glue wont hold it down for long. Instead, use contact adhesive to restick the paper.

Gently peel away some more of the wallpaper (so you have a larger area to work with) Apply Adhesive to both the wall, as well as the back of the paper. Allow adhesive to dry a little (so that it becomes tacky) Then stick it back.

Be carfull though, Contact adhesive is solvent based, therefore water resistant. If you mess a little on the floor, you'll need solvent to clean it up. Normal thinners might work, but does'nt always.

Good luck.

Gently pull seams apart and apply yellow glue to open space spread evenly in gap. Press wall paper back into space and whip excess glue away with damp sponge or cloth

I use a hypodermic needle filled with white glue that I've thinned. You can also thin down some wallpaper paste. I get the hypodermic needles from the feed store or vet supply. It gives you great control, no mess to clean up off the paper and looks great.

Forget all the above.

Use latex glue.

Latex glue is used for heavy wallpaper or on surfaces where normal glue will not stick.

With latex glue, it won't come off again. And it is water soluble while wet.

With some wallpaper, you can moisten the back of the paper so that the glue will stick again.
