I had this when I was around 14-16 years old. I wore pantyliners and occasionally used creams (although they did not help). Now I am 17 and it has completely cleared up, except for the occasional blip. Only worry when it is yellow (can indicate thrush or a yeast infection), or when it is tinged with red (but not period red); these are signs of problems that need to be dealt with by a doctor. If you are really worried, then ask to be checked out at a GUM (genito-urinary medicine) clinic. They will probably do some swabs and ask for a urine test, and maybe a blood test if you are sexually active, which I can see you are.

NORMAL VAGINAL DISCHARGE
All women have some vaginal discharge. Normal discharge may appear clear, cloudy white, and/or yellowish when dry on clothing. It may also contain white flecks and at times may be thin and stringy. Changes in normal discharge can occur for many reasons, including menstrual cycle, emotional stressors, nutritional status, pregnancy, usage of medications - including birth control pills, and sexual arousal.

EFFECTS OF THE MENSTRUAL CYCLE
The menstrual cycle affects the vaginal environment. You may notice increased wetness and clear discharge around mid-cycle. The pH balance of the vagina fluctuates during the cycle and is the least acidic on the days just prior to and during menstruation. Infections, therefore, are most common at this time.

SIGNS OF ABNORMAL DISCHARGE
Any changes in color or amount of discharge may be a sign of a vaginal infection. Vaginal infections are very common; most women will experience some form of a vaginal infection in their lifetime. If you experience any of the symptoms below, this may be a sign of vaginal infection:

Discharge accompanied by itching, rash or soreness

Persistent, increased discharge

Burning on skin during urination

White, clumpy discharge (somewhat like cottage cheese)

Grey/white or yellow/green discharge with a foul odor

other doctor will prescribe the same canestene cream and Vag. tablets . i think u need to ask your gynecologist about a capsule named by diflucan . this pill is anti fungal pill which can be taken orally for the vaginal fungal infections . also use a good intimate wash. but any way this discharge is harmless

White or clear discharge is normal. No need to revisit the doctor. Just keep fresh panties on or wear a light days pad ( panty liner).

it may well clear up after your period. if it doesn't go back to your gp. try to shower rather that bath and use mild soaps or shower gels. wear loose clothing and spray your knickers with bio stain remover before washing. change your bath towel every day and dry yourself gently down there. a white discharge can be normal so try not to worry or start over washing and irritating your sensitive areas. make sure you always wipe front to back after a wee or no2 and wash your hands thoroughly before and after you touch yourself. what ever you do don't feel embarrassed to discuss anything with your gp.

sounds normal, although it's always better to be safe than sorry,..... go back and ask the doc to take a look, if you have a male doctor, and are uneasy with him looking, ask the practice nurse to take a look,... but i'm sure everything is fine

That sounds like a normal discharge that your vagina puts out when it cleanses itself. As long as there is no itching, bad odor, or weird color, I wouldn't be worried.

If it's clear with no odors, then it's perfectly normal. Just wear a panty liner. That's what they're made for :)
