May I just say that I love children and feel if one is financially able to support them thay should have as many as they like. Why is there such negativity surrounding big families. My wife is constantly criticised if she brings all five kids to the mall, people call her all sorts including neglegent. Seriously, if you can support them what is the problem?

That's mormal for siblings to not get along. The older children from the first marriage are probably just busy living their own lives. I am 20 and I have a half brother who is 7 and ilove more than anything, but I don't have time to do things with as much as I wish I could.
Try to schedule a outting once a month for all of the kids. That way you have all of your kids together and spend time with all of them.
You are a good man. Most dads wouldn't even care, just pass it on to the moms.

First off the 21 & 20 yr. olds are not children anymore. I am sure they don't get along if they are all treated as children. There may be some resentment on their part as they were young when you started having more kids and might have felt like they were being replaced by the new ones. Talk to your older kids and see what's up.

Oh hon, NO set of siblings in ANY family, even those of the same parents, will get along lol.

Just be steady, spend time with each as much as possible, keep a firm and fast line on discipline for all and remind them how much you love them everyday.

I agree with you, have as many as you want and can support. Try bringing the families together for a campout or a picnic or a great outdoor fun thing you would all enjoy.

the kids in their 20s are pretty much grown up.
The other kids are still young. Why did you have so many kids? How do you afford them?

honestly, i wish i could help, but kids are kids and you can't MAKE them get along. they will only like eachother if they willingly want to .
