I'm a first-time, plus-size mom. I knew it would be a little later than normal that I would start feeling my baby move. But it wasn't much later than normal. I think it was around week 18 or 19. Now I'm 30 weeks and I feel him ALL the TIME!!! My husband still can't feel him, but I think it's because I'm overweight. But if I have something on my belly, and the baby kicks, then my husband can see whatever is on my belly move. Then he knows that his little boy is kicking!!!
Good Luck!!

Your baby has already started to move, but you may not feel it until you are further along. Like maybe 14+ weeks. Your build/size can also make all the difference. Smaller, thinner women tend to notice movement earlier on than heavier woman. And if you're a first-time mother-to-be, you may not realize the baby has been moving. Women that have been pregnant before tend to notice any subtle movement before a first-time mom would.
My first pregnancy, I think I was about 20 weeks when I really noticed movement. This time around (I'm 24 weeks now), I noticed it much earlier. I knew what to expect this time and I wasn't quick to assume that the little "bumps" and "flutters" I felt were from what I had eaten. LOL

I've had 4 kids. With the first I felt the baby about 15 weeks, which turned out to be about average. With the subsequent children, I didn't feel them move as often b/c I was in constant motion myself, taking care of the other kids. I'm average size. The first movements feel like little flutters, almost a tickle. You might wonder if you really felt something. As you become more aware of the flutters, reality sinks in and you'll know it was the baby. Have fun!

It feels like little, quick flutters around 14 weeks or so...and then the 5th month you should feel a definite kick.

The thinner you are, the more likely that you will feel them earlier. I am thin and felt my baby for sure at 14 weeks.
Good luck to you.

It depends on your size. Probably around 16 weeks you will feel regular flutters.
