Are the windows and doors in your son's house draught-proofed? If there are gaps around the window and door frames, spiders and other nasties will come in. I had quite a few spiders in my house until I draught-proofed everything, now I don't have any. Good luck.

Spiders are attracted by food. Spider food is insects. You may not see the insects during the day, but using a bug bomb should help take care of the problem. If it doesn't, contact a bug control company for a professional treatment.
