I love the name Skyler Nichole if I have a girl. Should I spell it Skylar or Skyler? For some reason I think Skylar looks more masculine? What do you think?

The middle name is after a good friend of mine, she spells in Nichole. I didn’t ask about the middle name... please don't answer questions you aren’t going to answer properly.

Personally, I think either one would work. It's the difference between Sara and Sarah. It's up to the parents to choose the spelling. I think wither way it's a pretty name. Also it wouldn't be mispronounced either way, so I say spell it how you want.

Before I even read which one you though was more masculine, I thought Skyler was the masculine one. I like Skylar. That is a pretty name. And Nichole is spelled normal, that other guy just doesnt know what he is talking about.

I've only known girls who spelled it Skylar. I think the a makes it more feminine. I had one boy in my school where I taught that spelled it Skyler so that might also be why I think this. And Nicole can be spelled Nichole. When it comes to names, anything seems to go now.

Skyler..it is funny because I was thinking that Skylar looked more masculine and I hadn't even read that part of your question yet, so yes I agree. Go with Skyler.

For a boy. i imagine it sounds masculine, honestly. And that's masculine. that's a spelling of Schuyler-- that is a masculine call, because it is an identical as Skylar / Skyler. i do not concepts both spelling, see you later because it is on a boy.

Funny you say that. I instictively thought Skyler looked more masculine. Than again I think its pretty girly for a boy to have this name, albeit cute. Either way is nice. I think Skyler looks better written.
