Do you talk a lot during class or show up late? Just make sure you do everything to a T and before you know she'll be off your back and you'll be able to take it easy. Don't give her any reason to pick on you and she'll see you are trying. How you dress has nothing to do with it. Maybe your teacher is being picky because she knows you have potential. Hope that helps good luck

I am a dance teacher and for all I care you can be dressed in drab but if you are a good dancer I will spot you and I will correct your mistakes.
P.S. Something that instructors can't stand is all cool dressed up dadys princess who thinks too much of herself and is worth nothing.

Teachers are supposed to be critical and picky. That's their job. Would you prefer a teacher that only gave you complements even if they weren't true? If your teacher is telling you that your work isn't perfect, then it isn't. How you dress has NOTHING to do with how you dance.

Practice more, and stop worrying about your teacher.

Learning how to write would also be a step in the right direction.
