80% of humanity, the religious folks, don't need to ask the meaning of life, the church tells them....the supernatural explanation. But the rest of us can't swallow religious dogma, because there's no evidence. Nobody can prove that there life after death, that people are tortured or rewarded after life or that there's invisible spirits running around.

I've come to two conclusions recently:

1. Life has no meaning
2. Life has a million meanings.

First, there's a certainty that death and annihilation awaits not only you, but the Earth in general. It's an astonomical certainty that our sun will supernova and leave the earth a burnt crisp, not to mention all the other extinction level events around the corner.

Second, the million things that give us meaning are the pleasurable experiences we can conjure up during the short period we are here on the earth, in the form of the relationships we have with our kids and other people, and the 'housekeeping' types of purposes. What i mean by that are the curing disease, ending hunger, improving literacy, reducing crime, preventing war, helping other kinds of things.

Life is what you want and how you make it.

If you want respect, be respectful
if you want love, give love
if you want prosperity, work your way up the ladder.

Life is not that complicated. Through the centuries man (and our surroundings) continuously change. We are all part of evolution. It is MAN that added the spiritual addition to life. (Do Dogs go to DOG heaven? How about Platypus Heaven?)

Life has always been about evolution, change and making it better for our future. We can make ourselves crazy analyzing something that cannot be proven. Everyday, whether you realize it or not, we learn SOMETHING from SOMEONE. This is how we learn and progress.

On the other hand, we may be nothing more than an experiment guided by our alien "GODS"...Kind of like guinnea pigs.

The best thing to do is enjoy the time you have left. Every day we are one day closer to death. Live like it is your last day!

Some think of life as a journey, the span of time in between conception and death. That would be as good a definition of this mortal life as any. We should use it wisely. Let me tell you of another definition of life that I know. When I was 25 years old, I asked Christ into my heart and life knowing that I was a sinner needing His divine intervention to save my soul from an eternal Hell. When I accepted Him and His salvation, I started my LIFE as a Christian, trying daily to live a LIFE that would be pleasing to God. I have failed to live for Him all of the time, but my goals are high and He forgives me for my frailties. Let me ask you, have you received Christ - this is the only way you will ever know the true meaning of LIFE, and your LIFE will take on a whole new meaning in trying to live LIFE for Him. Ask Him in today before it is too late.

No words can adequately answer the question without leading to more questions. But feel the wonderful feeling of being alive, feel the joy of breathing, explore the feelings within your breath! Then you know what life is and why you are alive!

Life is a wonderful gift from the creator of all that exists. It is our opportunity to experience love but also hate, joy but also sorrow, kindness but also selfishness, mercy but also injustice. You have important work do during life and important choices to make concerning all of these experiences. Hopefully, you fulfill in your own way the flowering of your own spirit in your own unique way so that you may return to God as a spiritual being that is a wiser, kinder, more loving and in all other ways a closer representation of God who made us in his/her image.
