If you are trying to control moss on wood fences, cement walks or plastic greenhouse benches, a solution of Physan 20, (a hospital cleaner actually) will kill it and keep it off.

It will mess with your soil, and some trees will not like it on their bark, so smarter to save it for de-mossing objects and not dirt or plants.

Liverworts, Lamium, Tiarella, Solierii and Hosta are all good groundcovers that will exclude moss from the ground. If you want it off your trees you will have to use elbow grease and a soft brush, I think.
