Probably less than the "culture of corruption" that was in the leadership for the last twelve years. Hopefully we'll have less people resigning or being tried for receiving bribes from lobbyists. We'll have less "morality legislation" being written by pedophiles like Foley.

Abramoff, Foley, Delay, lies about why we went to Iraq, Haggard. Want more names, more examples? I have a lengthy list. I don't really think your party is in a position to start posturing the moral values thing again so soon. Clean up your own messes before you start pointing fingers at Dems again, and let the Democrats worry about putting some badly needed checks and balances on King George. Got it? Good. We've had enough of your so-called Republican "moral values" and the vote reflected that.

Honestly if you looked to the US government for your morals you have some serious problems. I mean...Foley...the guy who is a huge advocate of protecting kids...is doing exactly the opposite of what he preaches.

How about you do this crazy thing...called thinking for yourself...and come up with your own morals...and quit imposing them on everyone else.

Well lets see we have republicans sending kinky e-mails to young men, we have a evangelist paying boy-toys for sex and to get him crank, we have priests raping little boys and the church practically sweeping it under the rug, and we had our Democratic president CLINTON got his *D* sucked by a of age woman. None of these are moral or right but it seems like the MOST normal would be the democrate. He didn`t do any more than what most american men do on a regular basis.

Considering all the scandals that have rocked the current administration it does not seem possible that the Democratic party can somehow hurt American morals. Consider Jack Abramhoff, Foleygate, lies that led to the war, Halliburton, illegal wiretapping, stolen phone records, billions of dollars missing in Iraq.........it goes on and on.

You don't follow the news much, huh? Foley? Plame?

You must be speaking of different morals then.

I can only assume that while the dems are in control we will gain back some civility in DC, and find out how much $$$ the Reps wasted without oversight.

Almost NONE. This has become a hotbutton topic because the conservative machine has made it so. Scare and scare and scare. That is their goal. You will happily note that the overall morals of this nation have fallen more in the past 12 years than in all the rest of our history COMBINED. No one ever seems to see this. And who was in charge? The right.
