My friend thinks she is pregnant, these are her “symptoms”:
Fuller breast that DON’T hurt
Peeing more often than usual
She says now she has been feeling this weird bubbling in her very low belly near her pubic bone and sometimes on her side area, she has been feeling it for about two weeks straight.

Why she may not be pregnant:
She has been on birth control for a year and still has a period when she finishes a pack.
She has taken a test every 2 weeks or so for the past 3 months and all of them are negative.
She stopped birth control this month and took another test, it was negative.
No noticeable weight gain and her stomach doesn’t look pregnant or hard.

But she still thinks she is pregnant even without any symptoms. If it really was a baby moving shouldn't hurt stomach be a bump at least? She went to the doctor and he didn't even bother giving her a test because she never missed any birth control pills.

Could she be pregnant or is she just really wanting a baby?

It could be gas.....or yes in her head...if she is preg she would have had to miss a pill in the middle of the pack and if shes wanting a baby that bad she might have if u miss a pill around the middle of your pack you WILL get pregnant if you have sex. So you need to talk to her and see if shes really wanting a baby secretly bcause then you could almost guess that she might have wanted to get on the birth control to help her be more fertil my mom said that how she got preg with me and i got preg with my son like tht(being an airhead mostly) but i was recovering from a D&C 4 miscarriage and messed around forgot one pill then forgot two then three. So yes it is possible. have her get help. We wanted a baby bcuz of our loss but her situation may be diff. Be a friend and lend her ur listening ear and heart. oh i had a period for 2 months BTW.

I doubt it......she 's on birth control and hasn't missed a period most likely what she's feeling in her belly is not a baby if a baby was kicking and she felt it she would have to be at least 16-20 weeks and it would have came up on the 50 million pregnancy tests she has been taking....so i say no she's not

It sounds like it is all in her head... You can't feel the baby start moving until 4-5 months (closer to 5 months) Pregnancy tests don't always work. They didn't for me. 3 months along, and i took one just for the fun of it and it still came out negative. The ones at the doctors office work the best. Not all people have any symptoms of being pregnant. I am 5 months now, and still the only sign that I have outside of a big belly is that I have frequent urination...( that came at around 7 weeks) ..... I hope all of this info is of some use, but I have known ALOT of girls who do the same thing... If she's not careful, she can trick her body into false pregnancy....

Pseudocyesis is the medical term for a false pregnancy. Pseudocyesis can cause many of the signs and symptoms of pregnancy, and often resembles the condition in every way except for the presence of a fetus.

PSEUDOCYESIS [pseudocyesis] , imaginary pregnancy in women usually resulting from a strong desire or need for motherhood. In the absence of conception, the menstrual periods nevertheless cease, the abdomen becomes enlarged and the breasts swell and even secrete milk, mimicking genuine pregnancy. The uterus and cervix may show signs of pregnancy, urine tests may be falsely positive, and the woman may report sensations of fetal movements. A woman may believe in her pregnancy to the point of delusion and show acute depression when no baby is born. It has been suggested that depression can sometimes alter the activity of the pituitary gland so as to cause hormone level changes that mimic the hormone changes of real pregnancy.

She cannot be having the sensation of a little one kicking because you do not believe that unless round 17/18 weeks. I didn't consider it except I was once 18 weeks. Also she could be showing and her stomach would believe difficult. I didn't have any symptoms however my belly was hard and that i started to exhibit at 5 months.

I would say that it's wishful thinking on her behalf. Tell her in order to get pregnant, there has to be no birth control methods being used. Yes, I know of some people who got pregnant while on birth control, but the probability is quite low. Tell her to either quit the pill and finally get pregnant, or shut up about it.

Last but not least, none of her "symptoms" are real. She'd know if she were pregnant, or at least would have pressed her doctor for a pregnancy test if she really thought she was.

well doesn't sound pregnant. she may just think so. the bubbling that i felt was gas...not a baby. If that doctor is a good doctor they would have given her a test...pills or not. The are not 100% and lots of people get pregnant when on the pill.

It sounds like she is just wanting a baby. While, it is possible to get pregnant while on birth control, a negative pregnancy test pretty much says it all. I would encourage her to take another test.
If she were pregnant enough to feel the baby kicking, she would be showing at least a little bit. And, she would have gotten a positive on her pregnancy test.
All the other "symptoms" could be chalked up to other things...the "weird bubbling" for instance, could just be gas.

More then likely, your friend IS NOT pregnant. First of all, it sounds like to me she has gas in her belly for the "fluttering" feelings she is getting, muscle spasms are another poss. I did not feel my son move until around 16-18 weeks of pregnancy. There is no way she could be feeling a baby kicking around in there unless she is that far along. It is however poss to still get your period while pregnant but if she has been taking birth control pills, once again, not likely she is. She needs to go speak to someone professional.

Well you can't be sure until she is tested by a doctor, but there is no way she is feeling the baby move expecially if this is her first. The first pregnancy you always feel the baby kick later in the pregnancy because you dont' know what to expect...it comes usually way after the 3rd month I doubt she would be that far along without any symptoms. I wish her luck though if she is wanting this....
