A woman only contacts you on rare occasions when she wants something, tell you point blank you are not even in her top 10 of things to think about but tells you she is interested in you, but makes no effort to include you in anyway into her life. After you spend thousands to help make her life better and to put a smile on her face, jewelry, tv, pc, designer purse, and enough lunches/dinners to feed an army *which she shares with her "male company" instead of talking to me on the phone. What would you think or do?

Side notes: I'm 33 she's 18 and has told me "(she) is not ready for a serious relationship with anyone". As for her looks, it was not her looks I fell for, I just liked spending time with her and look forward to it all the time. I miss getting my but kicked at UNO, Trivial Pursue, or Phase 10. I just had fun even when all we did was watch TV together.

I think she is just taking advantage of a very good thing. If she's only contacting you on rare occasions (when SHE needs something) that should be a clue. It sounds to me like she only keeps you around to keep herself happy and doesn't take you seriously enough to dump her other "male company" and get with you "full time" because she thinks you're just a friend (or..... something.......) I am sorry that someone would treat you this way. Truly I think you deserve so much better - someone who can appreciate your gifts and dinners for all they're worth and return the favor.

Now, you know what kind of responses you are going to get from the guys who read this don't you? Let me tell you what you need to do. You need to have a good self image. You can't buy a woman's true love. You can definitely buy many women, but you cannot buy true love or respect. If you continue to "gift" women in this manner you will continue to spend large amounts of money on women who will continue to take it with no intention of having a serious relationship with you. Relationship's are not truly built on what you can give materially to a person but what you can give intellectually, emotionally, what you have in common, hobbies, entertainment choices, religion, respect, etc. Are you spending money to impress girls or women that you think that you might not otherwise be able to attract just on your merits? If you are, you need to take a good hard long (Dr.Phil) type look at yourself and your actions. If you decide it's important to you to have that really "hot" lady on your arm for a time, that's fine, accept it for what it is. If you really want a lasting, meaningful relationship with someone who will love and respect you, well sweetie, that ain't for sale. Good luck.

Here's what you start doing, play the game back with her. Don't be so readily available, and forget your wallet every once in a while when you are hanging out with her. Sometimes there are people in this world who take advantage of good hearted people. People like that rarely change, so your options are to either play the game or quit on her.

I would think it could be one of two things. It could be that she is full of herself and/or just plain selfish and inconsiderate. Or it could be that she just wants to make herself look great or important, and she is going about it the wrong way.
I think it's something you should confront her on. Tell her exactily what she is doing and how it makes you feel. She might not realize she is comming off that way and once you talk to her she might try to change. On the other hand, if she does realize it and does not care, then there's not much else you can do.

Oh, by the gods, dump her. She's using you. And that should be incredibly obvious to you.
