It sounds like it, braxton hicks are early contractions caused by the contracting of the uterus wall before labour. Do mention it to you're doctor the next time you go in, but i think you're fine.
Good luck

Usually they are not painful. Usually they are not harmful to the baby. My OB said if I was having 4 or more an hour then he wanted to know about it to make sure that they weren't "doing any damage"...meaning making me dilate too early. They are exercises for your uterus. I view them as a good thing because the more exercise my uterus gets before labor the better shape my uterus will be in when the big day comes. For me a Braxton-Hicks contraction feels like either 1. I am wearing a girdle that has been temporarily tightened or 2. I have a giant ace bandage around my belly that is being tightened. Also when I put my hand to my belly it is rock hard. The past 4 weeks or so of my pregnancy (I delivered at 38 weeks) it made my breathing feel labored. Hope this helps.

Braxton Hicks contractions feel like your stomach is tightening up in a huge ball...at first I thought it was the baby scrunching up in a ball and pushing against my belly, but it ended up being Braxton Hicks. Your belly will get really hard, like rock hard, and it usually last about 30-45 seconds at a time. They should hurt at all. Eventually they will feel like period cramps (sometimes in your back, and they work around to the front, or sometimes just in your stomach) but that's not usually until close to labor.

Dunno. not ever received any in any respect. simply the 'biggie' and allow me let you know whilst it is particularly began you will not be asking approximately braxton hicks!!!! Seriously should you are not feeling any, do not fear approximately it. At the top you simply consider mainly crampy and heavy besides so it's not relevant should you name them braxton hicks or simply pregnancy. As for wherein they're, I could think on the entrance. My little one was once again to again so all my labour pains had been in my again above my kidneys so I did not have any entrance tightening in any respect. describing how any of it feels is particularly rough. all people has one of a kind sensations and suffering stages so I reckon it is individual to all. Good success with the final bit and SLEEP WHEN THE BABY SLEEPS!

Braxton Hicks contractions are not continuous, they come and go just like a regular contraction would. They are oddly spaced (usually) as well. They can feel like cramps or just like all of a sudden your stomach is tight and then normal again.
If the pain stayed constant than they were not contractions.

When you get braxton hicks contractions your belly becomes hard and tight feeling. You belly will remain tight and hard as a rock for a few seconds then it will go away.

As the others stated, BH is when your tummy feels really tight and hard. I'm 9 months pregnant and they are stronger now.
You should tell your OB what you are going through. They sound like contractions to me. Are you feeling them where you would normaly feel menstrual cramps?

its not braxon hicks, its your ligaments and round tendons stretching. It can be quite painful, and is usually a pinchy, searing, pulling feeling.
braxton hicks contractions feel like your stomach muscles and uterus are tightening and causing you to feel the urge to bear down, like pooping. Theyre sometimes painful, but mostly just uncomfy.
Its not a constant feeling, they tighten and then release and shouldnt do that more than 6 times an hour.

It feels like a huge tightening in your stomach. Kind of like the baby is scrunching up into a little ball and pushing hard against your stomach. That's what I think it feels like!!

your system might just be preparing for the birth. I felt these cramps a few times, but just ignored them. It was all ok.
