no. The baby at 8 weeks is the size of a grain of rice and only have buds for arms and no real legs yet, in a very thick muscle about the size peach.
You can however feel gas moving.

I think everyone is different. I have never heard of anyone ever feeling baby move that early. but until you really do feel it and know what it is its a good chance that its just gas or things getting stretched out in there. I felt my first daughter move at 13 weeks, but only when i was sitting forward and it was like a small tapping way down low. I am positive that's what it was! But with my second i was 16 weeks when i first felt it and it was the fluttery movement. I don't think that 8 weeks its possible because the baby is still so little its hard to see in an ultrasound even. I guess anything is possible and like i said before everyone is different, but when you do get bigger and feel it for sure you'll know then if what you feel now is the real thing or not. hope that helps! and have a great and Happy pregnancy!

Week 8 -your uterus is the size of an orange now, and you may find your waistline expanding. If this is your first pregnancy, you're probably not showing. You may be feeling like a teenager if you find yourself with pimples and other skin problems. Don't fret ~ pregnancy causes an increase in oil secretions not to mention those rampant hormones! Your break-outs will go away either after the first trimester as your hormones level off or after delivery.
The baby will have a fluttering heartbeat. Elbows begin to form in the arms and fingers start to develop. The leg buds begin to show feet with tiny notches for the toes. The face continues to change as the ears, eyes and the tip of the nose appear. The intestines start to form in the umbilical cord. Teeth develop under the gums.
No moving yet!

I undergo in concepts feeling like there replaced right into a infant circulation in my abdomen even after I WASN'T pregnant. The marvel flutters. and then i ought to describe to all my associates in the adventure that they want to understand what it feels want to have a infant kick you do not even should be pregnant haha. yet once you're pregnant you comprehend that that's the newborn kicking. because it would not ensue once in a BLUE moon...it basically occurs once in some finished moons. Lol, no i'm no longer particular. i'm purely 16 weeks and that i have been able to experience the newborn flow...notwithstanding it would not experience like an elbow or knee...a lifeless ringer for circulation...and that's no longer widely used. that's no longer solid adequate that you'll be able to experience all of it the time, i imagine it basically relies upon on the position the newborn's positioned and what's worry-free to push round in there.

I know everyone says you can't feel it that early...that is what the doctor says too, and maybe it is true...but I am 12 weeks and I know it isn't gas! I swear I felt the baby move and kick...when we had the ultrasound, he was bouncing around in there haha! Maybe 8 weeks is too early, and maybe, everyone just thinks it is because the doctors say so...if you think you felt it, I think you just might have...because I felt it, it was this little butterfly nudge feeling. So don't rule it out just because everyone says it is too early...you are the mother and if you really think you felt it, you probably did. Good Luck and congrats!

a baby moving feels like a butterfly fluttering in your stomach at first. Later, when the baby is bigger, you can expect a lot of kicking. But 8 weeks is too early.

I'm not sure. It's possible it's gas or that you're farther along in your pregnancy than you think.
Best thing to do is go see a doctor.

No, fetal movements usually aren't felt as such until at least the fourth or fifth month. What you're feeling is most likely the uterus growing.
