Try a magic eraser!! They really work I dont know how they do but they have cleaned just about every thing I have tried them on. They are made by Mr. Clean People.

It is tempting to try to clean it yourself with erasers, cleaners and such, but I ruined a suede coat that I tired to clean with an eraser (ruined the nap and made a light spot) and a cleaner (diluted the stain and spread it out and made it larger) and I wish I had taken it to a professional. Call a local leather professional or a good LOCAL, reputable dry cleaner.

I'm sure your wife is PO'd about the coat...don't make it worse by permanently ruining it by a "do it yourself" cleaning...

you can try and use a suede brush that you use on shoes to remove any loose material but best take it to a specialist like a dry cleaners. I wouldn't risk doing anything yourself. She might not be too happy with you otherwise. good luck

As it's suede I'm afraid I have o agree with the others, with the proviso... a specialist dry cleaners. Most dry cleaners do not specialise in suede... so you need to find one who does.

Sounds like you need to get it to the dry cleaners. It'll probably cost a fortune though, being suede.
