for the first time with my boyfrined. i am 18 years old i am not ready for a baby i usually start my period around the 9th and it is now the 14th and nothing yet... i am scred i may be pregnant? we used a condom but nothing else. i took a pregnancy test on friday which came out negative. how do i know if i am for sure or not. help please!

It's normal for you to be late for your next period after you have had sex for the first time, I'm not quite sure why, but it's normal. Still be cautious though, there are a lot of people on this earth because people had sex only once!!! If a few more weeks roll by, and no period, take another test. If you can't wait that long, you can visit your doctor and they can actually do a test by taking your blood or something because they can detect levels of the pregnancy hormone in it earlier than in urine.

Definately get a blood test if you are really worried, they are about $20 at a planned parenthood.If you are not ready to be pregnant and you aren't now then consider not having sex until you are in a fully committed relationship. If you are still going to have sex then get on birth control and always use at least 2 types of protection. You can also get the birth control perscription from PP. It is $25 from them but I paid $14 at a Kroger (Smiths). Talk to the boyfriend and find out how he feels about this, if he wants to dump you over this then you know he was really scum, if he just acts scared give him some time and consider adoption if you are pregnant...you will give the baby a better life and give you a chance to live the rest of yours. It is not a selfish thing to do either, if anything it is very unselfish. Good luck

If you took a pregnancy test then theres about nothing left to do. I kno how it is to worry about getting pregnant, even with protection, it worried me every month. The month I didnt worry is when i did get pregnant ! Sometimes sex can mess with your cycle, so it can make it a little late at times. If your really concerned then talk to your obgyn.

You can take another home pregnancy test. Every 48 hours the tests are more effecient. Or you can go to planned parenthood and get a blood test done. Talk to your boyfriend about what's going on it should make you feel better.

if you used a condom, i'm sure you're fine,sometimes just some hormonal changes, can cause the delay. You might want to eat something to do with parsely and lots of papaya. If it's just a delayed period, this will bring it on. Don't worry.

don't worry baby, if u have used condom properly nothing is gonna happen, do home test again if negative, it's cool,
still worried c a doctor, it's 5 Minuit checkup she will tell u

go to a clinic and get a real blood test. if you are pregnant and not ready for a baby, then consider putting him/her up for adoption, don't abort the pregnancy.

Honey, I don't think that you are pregnant I just think that you are over reacting. Maybe it's just because you are worrying and if you are stressed out then that will make your period be backed up. So I don't think that you are pregnant I just think that you are stressed out and and need to relax and when you relax then you will see T.O.M. (Time of Month).

You can try a home test again but they may not always be accuarte. Try a doctor visit
