People over 60 have an affinity towards the radio. most mp3 players come with fm radios. they key is not to introduce is it as a snazzy new gadget, but as something that brings back memories easily.

Whats the point? Sell them to someone who wants them. A good proportion of over 60's are deaf to some degree and those that aren't usually don't enjoy music so much.

-It is an easy way to carry music.
-You don't have to buy CDs, you can buy the music online and save it -straight to the MP3 player.
-You can carry it with you.
-They can hold a lot of songs.
-They have a lot of battery (sometimes)
-You dont have to change CDs.
-You look cool if you have one!

half of them wouldnt know how to work the thing let alone know what an mp3 player is!

Audio books as most of them have poor eyesight. You may have to make them with bigger buttons though. And war time classics.

sell them filled up with music and let them choose from a choice of, easy listening, classics, jazz, audio books... musical/opera songs etc.....

they replace all the vinyls they still own..lol
if that doesn't work tell them it makes them younger
or at least not look so old...since they are up to date with technology
