I agree on Evanescence and Breaking Benjamin.
I would also include Nickelback, Hoobastank, and Three Days Grace.
If you like Evanescence, you should check out Lacuna Coil. They are a similar type band with a female vocal. I think their 2006 release "Karmacode" is their best album.
