You can do lots in the Accounting/Finance and Banking Industry.

You can work in public or private firms even government agencies.

Every state thrives on a different job market. And the economy has a lot to do with what job are and are not available.

Your best bet is to research and figure out how much you are worth. Not sure where you live or how much education you have but you can start by going to your career services department in your college or university. If you have already graduated you can inquire about the services they have especially for alumni.

I would not say accounting is for females only. But if I were you I would not worry about it because these days corporations thrive on a diverse workforce that includes everyone!
