Are they ever going to get together or are the writers gouing to string us along all season by bringing in that girl from stamford and having troy still hang around?

Oh, I hope they string us along for two more years, at least! Getting them together is so...normal.

If it follows the story line of the British version (as many things have on the show) they will not get together until the 2-hour Christmas special which takes place a couple years after the show ends.

they are gonna string us that is how they keep us coming back to watch the dang show but i wish they kind of would but then again i don't they live awhile apart and that new girl and Jim seem to be hitting it off so who knows guess I cant miss this Thur. episode when Jim comes back to Scranton, I'm the same way with Passions its the only soap i watch and now I'm getting mad that fancy and Louise aren't together or Tess and Ethan dam all those show that draw us back in.

If Jim and Pam got together, that would destroy the sexual tension--and the viewers' interest. Do you remember the TV show called Moonlighting? That's an excellent example.

It is gonna get worse before it gets better as Jim and the new girl will be co-workers and Pam will be there too and it could get messy

They probably won't get together for a while - the writers have to do that to keep us interested.
