mortal kombat 3 (snes)?

i play this game ALOT. but every once in a while i'll hit a random trigger or something and a guy in a purple shirt (normal guy) will come up and say whoopsies, what triggers that and what is it?

It's not john tobias, it's the art director. It's an in house running joke. He says 'toasty'.

In mortal kombat 2, he was the key to accessing the secret smoke.

He doesn't do much in MK3 =)

I dont know in what MK game it was (i think its 2 or 3) but when that happened if you press start or select or both you would go and fight smoke or noob saibot.one of those 2 guys.

i imagine you should get UMK3 because that is really an similar interest as MK3 yet with extra characters and ranges. the unique MK3 did not actually have Scorpion as a playable personality...

When you uppercut, that's the game's creator, whose last name is Tobias, and that will cause him so say "Toasty!" it also happens when you torch your opponent with Scorpion.
