Sounds like she should go see an opthamologist immediately. If one or both of her eyes are infected, she could go blind.

Tell her to take out the contact lenses and give it a rest. Use saline solution to rinse her eye. Make an appointment with an eye doctor. She may have an infection or scratched her eye.

Best thing to do would be to take the contacts out and let the eye cleanse itself naturally. Don't put them in again for at least 3 days and try to see the optician asap; they shouldn't be hurting. If they become irritable when wearing I always try contact lens drops (specially made, available in many chemists) which stops the lenses from drying out.

I suggest you don't put anything in her eyes. Just take her to see an eye doctor immediately. Don't put nothing in her eyes cause you are only going to make it worse. Just tell her to take them out and run her eyes under warm water, if it still stings and immediately take her to the doctor.

She should take the contacts out, and put a cool compress (like a wet washcloth) over her eyes. Give her the recommended dose of Ibuprofen (Motrin, Advil). She should see her eye doctor about switching brands or switching to glasses.

She needs to see an eye doctor. She may have an infection and need new contacts, or need to clean her existing contacts. Does she take good care of them? Anytime contacts become uncomfortable and you can't make them comfortable, you need to see an eye doctor.

Has she not taken care of them? Are they New?? we need some more info here.. First off i would take them off and have her wear her glasses if she still has them then go and see your opthamologist ASAP... you can give her some visine drops to ease her discomfort, but I would get her some medical attention soon.. the eyes are nothing to fool around with

Tell her to take them out then use a natural tears eye drop. If they are red you might need to go to the dr, they might be infected and you would need a priscription drop
She needs to make sure she is removing them every night for at least 4 hours. And even though the soulution may say "no rub" she should still rub them to remove the protien buildup.

she may have an infection in her eye so she needs to take them out and leave them out for a couple of days....go see your optomitrist......if she has disposable contacts she needs to throw that pair away and put in a new pair when her eyes are better.
