Napkin rings made from several pieces of rope glued around a piece of cardboard tube and a craft store cowboy hat glued to the ring and red bandannas inserted for napkins. Mason jars for drinking glasses. Also mini galvanized buckets from the craft store to hold nuts and candy and to serve as place cards if needed. You can also buy citronella candles already in small galvanized buckets and use them on tables as mood lighting.

buy a roll of twine from the hardware store or the Dollar tree.
cut off about two yards of twine and tape the ends with red or green electrical tape or duct tape to keep it from unraveling.
clip the end to only show about a half inch of color at each end. Make a lasso and secure with a knot at the palce where the circles meet.
you can string together red peppers or tie three red peppers together with twine and call it an ornament.

Go through your child's toy box and lift the ponies. Barbie has a whole stable of real looking friends and WalMart has a generic brand of horses sold separately or in sets.
JoAnn fabrics and Michaels have doll accessory departments where you can get small sized cowboy hats. They also have boots. Tin stars like the sheriff wore are found in toy sets and can be made from cardstock and foil.
Red bandanas and fancy leather belts can be used as garlands.
There is fabric sold by the yard that is the bandana print, sut stips and throw them in the dryer to get them to fray then tie together with large visible knots then drape on the tree like any garland.
I have four sons. One year we drew the shape of a cowboy boot about three inches high and cut 100 of them from red felt. I sewed the boots together with green topstitching on three sides and then we threaded gold thread on a needle, made a loop and tied a knot to hang it from. we put a small candycane in each one. I also had to refill them several times.
