Take her to dinner first. Then take her to the mall and let her pick out what she wants in lingerie. She and you might have a lot of fun playing in the racks before she decides on something. And this way, she will get the size she needs, the stuff she likes, and you will have the pleasure of watching her smile as she plays with all the pretty things. She might even ask your opinion of what you like best. If she picks it, it will be what she really wants.

This is easy, and also fun!!!
Go to your nearest Victoria's Secrets shop. Bring with you your wife/girlfriend's measurements or sizes of lingerie they currently wear. Have some of those lovely ladies in VC try a few things on fo you, if they will do so, or they will certainly offer suggestions. A little smiling and flirting won't hurt either. The girls in the shop will be very helpful as long as you smile a little and be friendly towards them. Throw yourself on the mercy of their skills, and make sure you tell them.... I'm so lost with this... I need some help, PLEASE. Good luck and have fun!

If you go to a great lingerie boutigue in your area you will find great sales people who will help you with that. Victoria Secret is great, the ladies there have experience dealing with men shopping for their wives etc.
How soon is her birthday? Do you have time to browse the online catalogs and make mental notes. See if you can grab a quick catalog and leave it for your wife to browse. You will see what she likes... we often folder corners on pages or bookmark the pages when we are catalog shopping.
You cannot go wrong with lace in Black or Red... but pink is romantic.

Go to Victoria's Secret and get help. I have been shopping at the main VS downtown here and I've been outnumbered by men. The employees are trained to help you with preferences and sizing. They are very professional -- no need to feel sheepish. Get in there!

Find out what size bra she wears most lingerie go buy bras size once you have that information then , all you have to do is buy her something you like and you know she might consider wearing.

Sneak into her unmentionables drawer and get her bra and panty sizes. Get her dress size as well.
Resist the urge to buy the most trashy thing..........go for sexy-elegant. Victorias Secret is your best bet.
