Pull the drawstring all the way out and attach a safety pin to the string and put the safety pin back into the hole and push as you scrunch the head portion of the hood and pull threw.

Take a safety pin, figure out where the end of the draw-string is, stick the pin thru the material and try to grab the string with the pin and push ahead. Repeat. Until you reach the hole. Then when you wash the garment, make sure the draw-string is always tied.

Pull the string all the way out. Lay the hood flat.

Bend a clothes hanger so that the hook is about the size of the grommet hole where you need to pull the string through. Feed the hook through and tie the string to the hook. Pull hook out with the string still attached to it.

your best bet is to pull it all the way out. Then take a safety pin and hook it on the end of the string and thread it though the hole all the way around. Had this happen to me alot it works and it is easy.
