SAD or ROCK? Okay.. I'm no longer certain on that. If through unhappy you imply.... sluggish and type of emo... Well he is saying that he wishes he would have said something before it was to late, now instead of being hurt by rejection he is hurt that he will never have the chance to tell her and never know what they may have had if he would have told her.
