No but usually the manufacturer has other discounts and other specials that usually Best Buy and other companies can't do because they didn't make the computer. Whatever you want to do just go for it and good luck!

Deal with a store, my web item was discontinued, but they debited my visa in error and it took me 2 months to get it sorted out...never again.

i prefer dealing with a store, if you should have any trouble you can take it back and get a refund easier ( you are dealing face to face with people) if going through the manufacturer its a bit more complicated as it requires shipping it back and then the waiting game till they recieve it etc...

it won't matter where you buy it just make sure that you get a warranty with it. i bought mine from a store so that if i had any trouble i could just bring it in and not have to deal with shipping it and stuff. i would recommend best buy...afterall, it it the best buy ahaha

nope doesnt matter at all. but some companies might give better after care insurance worth checking out the stores policy
