Buy a weaved basket and put things in it, like deodorant soap, and maybe a bottle of perfume, cookies, and candy, Buff Puffs, and Ponds Creme, things that Women like and it really is inexpensive to do and Mothers appreciate it more I think because the material in the basket is what gleems. You can do this for about $20.00 and it is a great gift.

Or you can go to nearest Hobby Shop and buy the materials to make a her a nice necklace. Handcrafted stuff really makes a difference because you put your feelings into it.

Have you ever thought of spending some time with her!??? Far too often teens don't realize that really all mom wants (I am a mom) is to have her child come to her, give her a hug, say I love you and happy birthday! It makes me almost cry with joy, thinking about it!!

Why not take her out to eat.. tell her "its just you and me mom, I will take you out to lunch". The place does NOT have to be fancy it could even be a fast food joint if she likes a particular one. Cheap for you yet a heart warming thing to receive when you are a mom of a teen !

Give of yourself and see how mom acts to this kindness!

Time is the most precious gift of all
Give her a git certiicate from you to her. On it describe the day you are planning, such as going to a nice brunch together, just the two of you. Have a photo taken of the two of you together and frame it. It would be something that she would keep forever.

Write her a poem about her and how much she has done for you or how much she means to you. Or take a picture of the two of you together and put it in a nice frame. Mothers are so sentimental, she would love something that came from your heart and that she can keep. It doesn't have to cost a lot of money.

Just make up a personalized gift basket with body wash, lotion, body spray, a loofah, maybe a small book, a stuffed animal and other small, inexpensive things. If you know what her favorite color is, stick to that theme.

Why don't you cook her a nice dinner, with special dishes that she likes.
