I want to cut out pictures and put them on a coffee can to make a piggy bank. I'm going to college the entire can. What could I use to make the clippings stay on really well and some kind of a clear cover so they won't rip or tear later on. I want it to look almost professional. Thanks.

Go to a Hobby Lobby or some craft shop.. they have a double sided stick clear plastic type material...before taking off the side that would stick to the can...get your pictures ready to go... On that subject.. I would make a collage out of the pictures rather than distinct pictures.. that would make it more FUN to do..So.. on a table away from the sticky paper, prepare your collage by irregular cutting of pictures.. get them ready to go about the same size as a rounded surface would be on the can.. stick the pictures on one side of the sticky paper....then assuming that the paper is the size of the circumfrance of the can.. past on another ONE SIDED sticky surface OVER the picture collage.. then remove the backing of the first sticky surface and place it around the can... Actually.. you can sort of ROLL the can and it should stick.. It sounds like a fun project and.. using the collage idea would make it very interesting.

Get modge podge- Rosie O Donal-- the queen of decoupage recommends it.
