The iPod is in my pocket, so I'm not too worried about that. But what about the iPod ear pieces?

the ear pieces should be fine as long as the ipod its self doesn't get wet.

no i do not think that it is wise to listen to your ipod in the rain, because you make get shocked or it may even well damage your ipod.

I think they should be fine. I have used mine in the rain and while snowboarding and have never had an issue. If you wear a hoodie sweatshirt or coat, you'll keep your head and your earpieces dry. :)

they should be alright. i listened to mine on the way to work and it was -54 degree celsius, so i don't think a little rain would hurt them
