It usually the being pregnant that causes the nausea and the vitamin gets blamed. Sometimes it is a overall change in dietary habits, even if they are positive ones, your whole tummy gets out of whack from that. Take the vitamin at a different time of day.

i have problems with all vitamins since i've been pregnant. if they make you nasious then quit taking them...switching to a different brand may not help b/c they may have the same ingredients. but if all prenatal vitamins make you nasious (or break out in a rash and be nasious like me) then try taking TWO flintstones vitamins daily. But even those made me break out. My doc said just make sure you eat healthy and eat a bowl of total a day and I'll be fine. He said that even if you ate junk food that most Americans aren't malnurished and can get by without taking the vitamins.

that's the iron interior the supplementations it really is causing your nausea. you'll want to attempt diverse varieties till you detect one it really is the right variety for you. maximum prenatal supplementations contain severe ranges of nutrition A which may reason miscarriage or severe start defects and this may also reason nausea. be particular your supplementations do no longer contain more beneficial than 8,000 to 10,000 IUs of nutrition A palmitate. i take advantage of the Safeway variety of supplementations (the pink pills) that you will be able to purchase at any Safeway keep once you've them on your area. they're the purely ones that do no longer make me nauseous at the same time as pregnant and they have low nutrition A ranges. you are able to also take Floradix rather of prenatals. They make a form for pregnant females and the iron is extra accessible to take up. it really is a liquid and it tastes marvelous. you'll locate it in any organic nutrition keep.

I take my vitamins after I eat a hearty breakfast. I take the pill with a whole glass of milk. If I do it any other way I get incredibly nausea. Also, if I don't eat lunch on time the pill makes me sick. Just some advice.

Different prenatal can give different effects on women. My wife was prescribed the chewables because the pills kept making want to throw up. the chewable worked out fine for her.

I had to be taken off of prenatals and placed on Flintstones with Calcium. I was VERY sick from prenatals and the childrens vitamins did not make me sick at all.

The prenatal vitamins used to make me feel sick too. I started taking them at night, right before I went to sleep. That helped me.

There are now prescription vits. that are supposed to reduce nausea but of course they are more expensive. Try taking them right before bed...that way you sleep through most of the nausea. Good luck!

Mine made me sick, so I stopped taking them in the morning and waited until after I ate lunch....I took them after I was sure I had a very full stomach....It helped tremendously....Try that before asking to switch. Any vitamin will make you nauseated on an empty or semi empty stomach...

I had the same problem. The doctor told me I can take 2 Flinstones with iron, and she gave me a prescription for folic acid, to make up for the difference. I had a healthy fat baby boy.
