If you bought it new, there should be very little to assemble. Remember the golden rule "If all else fails, read the instructions" You have to connect the wiring, the water line and the drain line. Then screw the cover onto the front bottom. This should be detailed in the instructions if you have them. If your existing sink is not set up for a dishwasher, then you'll have to change a small piece of the drain configuration. If you're doing this yourself, and have even a little knowledge, you can go to one of the home stores and they will set you up with what you need for the installation. Doesn't hurt to take a picture with a digital camera and take it with you. One of the dishwasher and one of the pipes under your sink. Make sure your water is shut off and the electric breaker is off too. If it seems overwhelming....fill up the sink. Just kidding. You can find the name of a local plumber or a handyman on the buletin boards in the home stores by the contractors service desk. They shouldn't charge you that much. Good luck.

I don't assemble a dishwasher. I buy them already assembled.

If you are going to install one, call a plumber.
