Lossman is NOT the answer.
Brady Quinn will be off the boards by the time Buffalo picks. Unless they trade up for him that is. But I don't see Marv Levy doing that.
Plummer would be a good fit, but again, I don't see Levy going after him. He's getting up there in years and will probably demand a contract that the Bills can't afford. They have too many holes at other positions to throw all their free cash at a quarterback.
They'll probably end up drafting the best QB on the board with their first pick, whoever that might be (Bohm maybe?). And then hope for the best.

The answer? Nothing. Losman can consider himself blessed if he has so much as three seconds before a defender has his hands on him. For example, on 17 drop backs against the Colts, he was sacked 4 times, hurried 5 times, and knocked down 7. If you're keeping count, that's 16 of 17 of his drop backs where he was under some sort of duress. You can go ahead and add in Robert Royal dropping a ball to his problems. 9/13 is a pretty high completion percentage, and he had a good YPA(yards per attempt). If you notice, he only dropped back to pass 17 times against the Colts, so expecting him to put up big stats is utterly ludicrous. Factor in the fact that Fairchild tends to call 5 step drops most of the time with routes that take a while to develop, and it's little wonder we can't pass.
So, what's the problem? Problem number one is that Losman wasn't hit or hurried or otherwise harassed by the Indi defense on 1 of his 17 drop backs. That's just sad. If you've watched play-off games the past few years(and the Indi-Pats game a week ago), you've seen such vaunted quarterbacks as Donovan McNabb, Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Jake Plummer, and Matt Hasselbach crumple under pressure and make game-losing mistakes when they are constantly under duress. So, instead of blowing yet more money and draft picks on a QB whose going to be rushed effectively every play, we ought to treat the illness, not the symptom...the offensive line. Villarial is too old and often gets blown up. Gandy's pass-blocking abilities leave much to be desired even at guard. RT is a huge question mark. Our only consistently good linemen are Jason Peters and Melvin Fowler. Everyone else needs to step up their play or get out of town/warm the bench.
The secondary problem is wide receivers. Our only reliable wide receivers are Lee Evans, Josh Reed, and Roscoe Parrish. Everyone else is garbage. Royal apparently can't catch a cold, Peerless Price is tormented by nightmares of big, scary kickers('cause he always runs for the sidelines instead of fight for yards), and Andre Davis doesn't know what to do when some one throws the football in his general direction. If you're keeping score, that's our #1 receiver and 2 slot guys. And, because the oline typically gets mauled by a measely four man rush, they're faced with 7 defenders. We need a big, reliable #2 option to take pressure off of Evans and give JP a big target in the redzone.
So, in short, keep JP, and draft a big WR and some strong, athletic, and MEAN olinemen ASAP. If he STILL can't get it done(which I doubt...I think he's "the guy"), then you have a great enviroment in which to bring along a rookie...

Protection in the pocket and a steady running back. Losman has looked OK with the players he's playing with, but really, he doesn't have that much. McGahee is CONSTANTLY injured, the o-line is probably numer 30 - 25 worst in the league. He has no tight end who he can dump the ball off to (All good QB's have one, take a look, Well.... Cept' Carson Palmer.). The Bills have a lot more problems. But, like so many other struggling teams, the QB is blamed, and replaced. Give Losman another year or three, if can't play by then, get rid of him. But Losman probably doesn't feel all that confident, he thinks he's going to get benched or cut soon, so why bother? Charlie Fyre is confident and with time will get better and better. They should say J.P. is the starter, now, and in the future. Give him something to build himself up with.

Lossman is not the answer. To be honest the Bills organization needs to do better in the draft! Being a dolphins fan here, its been rough on both our teams. I think the Bills should look at a Brady Quinn or maybe even a Troy Smith. Hey who am I to say though...I thought Dante' was going to be our answer...NOT!

They need to check the free agency first. That way they know if the players on there have proved themselves throughout the years. I would not recommend drafting a qb because they have bigger problems(I.E. Defense). I would definately suggest the free agency qb's and drafting defense players.

Losman will never be the answer for anybody.
They should pick the best QB available come draft time. Brian Brohm from Louisville might be available and he is twice as good as Quinn.

Losman is as far from the answer as possible. 83 yards last week? They need the whole team rebuilt not just the QB situation.
