He hasn't got a shot in hell of being supported by the far right wing. He's pro-choice, pro-gay rights, and acted shamelessly during his trashy divorce. Wow, will the right wingers love this guy? Hardly. Personally, I think the guy's not so bad, but the question is not if liberals like him or the ultra-conservatives will like him, but will moderates like him for the job? Moderates have come back into their own and gave the House and Senate back to the Democrats. It's really going to be up to them I think.

It certainly shouldn't. Wake up America... people get divorced, have affairs, are gay... in fact have a whole lot of baggage. We all do. Why should we expect our leaders to be completely above the sin line.... maybe if we had some who actually stood up there and said.." Hey, I've had some messes in my life.. but I have learned from my mistakes.. and I will do the very best I can for this country.. when I am unsure I will ask for help.. but I may make mistakes.. Elect me" I could vote for someone like that.

A great change from.." I am the decider"..."I can't see that I've made any wrong decisions so far"... " I will decide what is best for this country." Sound familiar.. this from Bush, who we know know knew nothing but would not admit it. Nope, I would dearly love to have a president who was not just a press release.. but an actual someone.. a real person with hopes and dreams and mistakes in his or her life. AND IT WOULD BE DAMN NICE TO HAVE A PERSON WHO IS NOT FROM THE PRIVILEGED CLASSES.. WHO ACTUALLY KNOWS HOW 80% of this real America lives!!!

It may have an effect with some voters, but the bigger problem for him will be his highly liberal stand on many social issues. His popularity as the "World's Mayor" after 9/11 (although well-earned) will only get him so far with conservatives.

if H. Clinton wants to run for president, will the fact that her husband solicited sexual favors from his intern affect her chances? THE HYPOCRISY OF LIBERALS IS ASTOUNDING! republicans can get divorced just like democrats. and H. Clinton should follow in Guliani's footsteps, and divorce her lying, cheating husband

I don't think so. Too many Americans have now been through the same thing. We understand.
