Madam C.J. Walker - I am not sure if she is or not, because I always thought that she was the first African American woman to be a millionaire, but I have sources that say she was the first African American millionaire. She made money selling hair care products to African American women in the early 1900s. She is very famous in Indianapolis.
For those that think Oprah, she is the first African American billionaire, I think.
