Yes, but unless you have a house or you itemize for some other reason it won't be worth it.
When you file your taxes, you automatically get a standard deduction that you don't need to show receipts for.
If you want to claim more, you would first have to have receipts that cover the amount of your standard deduction.
Not easy to do.

I'm not sure about time. If it was something like a doctor giving his time to take care of people that don't have the money to see a doc. I would say YES. Items donated sure can be truned on your taxes. You have rules you have to do. Your tax person can tell you all the ins & outs.

Yes when you donate ask them for a reciept and they should give you one it is tax deductable so is your time just get reciepts for services rendered.
