There's a lot of great horror movies. What surprises me is that GR1M can say that House of 1,000 Corpses is a lame attempt at a real horror movie and then say that the best horror movie is Jeepers Creepers. I LOVE Rob Zombie so maybe that's why I like his movies so much, but there are an insane amount of horror movies way better than Jeepers Creepers. What about all the classics? The Exorcist, Halloween, Nightmare on Elm Street, Friday the 13th, The Shining....I admit some of these movies got chessy as they proceeded along (Jason takes Manhattan) but these are classics and any one of these whips Jeepers Creepers ***.

There's quite a few in the genre I like. Not sure if you're familiar with these or not or what you classify as horror; could be black and white with little or no blood or just the opposite.

In no particular order.

1. Suspiria
2. Invasion of the body snatchers
3. M
4. Night of the living dead ( the original )
5. Island of lost souls

SO FAR IT'S GOTTA BE JEEPERS CREEPERS , HOSTEL IS RIGHT UP THERE TOO , ALSO DARKNESS FALLS , BUT THERE ARE ALOT OF CLOSE RUNNERS UP.......CANT EVEN PUT SOME OF THESE LAME MOVIES LIKE ( HOUSE OF A THOUSAND CORPSES , THE GRUDGE , THE GRUDGE TWO , THE RING TWO , SILENT HILL , DARK WATER , ETC. ) IN THERE , CAUSE THOSE WERE JUST FAILED ATTEMPTS AT A REAL HORROR MOVIE.......GOOD LUCK .......GR1M

This isn't the best, but it sure is creeeepy!

HOSTEL

I watched it for the first time the other night when I was alone...big mistake. I was still wide awake at 3:30 AM! It's all about torture....I still get chills thinking about it.
