The hardest letter for me to use in Scrabble is the letter "O" because I can never figure out if it's right side up or upside down.

I'm a nationally rated Scrabble expert.
Even though the word QI has recently been added (March 2006) to North American Scrabble, the Q is still THE most problematic tile.
V, U, and J are next worst in terms of general flexibility.
In cases where tiles are unplayable at the end of the game, the most frequent tile is Q, despite the fact that players make a concerted effort to guard against this tile. The second most commonly "stuck" tile is V. Of course, at higher levels, players will deliberately try to force a Q stick on the opponent (by blocking places where it will play) if it appears the opponent isn't likely to be holding anything (like U, blank, or A) that would help them get rid of the Q if they in fact have it.

It's Z for sure. X is fairly easy. Ox or Axe are always good easy word for x among others. Q is the second hardest but surely easier than z.

I find that the letter "z" is the hardest one to use and it is not common in everyday speech where as "q" is used more often and the words come to you easier.
