They are starting my schedule and finacial package but I am still looking to get into another college should I say something or do Ihave to go with that one school.

You do not have to attend that school. If you get into the school you want, notify them (the old school) that you will not be attending ASAP so they can award that money, housing, etc. to someone else. Then begin the package and schedule with the new school. :)

Ask the counselor or the admissions office or administration or student affairs at the college you are currently supposed to attend. I think it can be sorted out. One of those will be able to give you more precise information.

If you have not been accepted at the other school, then do not say anything. You can always compare packages. It happens all the time.

Definately mention something to your financial aid office. It isn't fair to them to do all that paperwork with the govt. (it is a LOT of paperwork) to get you on that financial aid. That way they can put it on pause or there may be something else that they can work out for you while you decide. Good luck!

If you applied for "binding" Early Decision, then you have to go to that school. If you did not, then just send them a note and say, I have changed my mind and do not intend to enroll at XYZ College. That's it.
