i would like to purchase a laptop on finance have hunted at dell & pc world but no joy there can you help me?

Try Dixons or Currys, it is quite posible they do a hire purchase type deal.

Go to Argos, sign up an agreement, and you can buy it on buy now pay later upto 9months, that way you can pay each month. I would not suggest you go to Brighthouse, they are way over the top for their items.
