Farnham is by far the best place to live in. You have a great selection of food stores, i.e)
2 Sainsbury's
Waitrose
Iceland,
Aldershot is not far away and that is good for a nightlife. I'm sure u will notice by the house prices that Farnham Surrey is a desirable place to live.
Great transport links to london are very reliable.
Also it is covered by one of the best Police Forces in the country. Surrey Police are currently ranked 5 in the tables and the metropolitan police are 7th.
Surrey Ambulance Service are also great and have an amazing track record when it comes to patient care.
Farnborough on the other hand is covered by hampshire police which are ranked 15th and the ambulance trust is slightly worse than surrey.
Farnham has great secondary and primary schools.

Farnham is much nicer. It's a smaller town with nicer residential areas. There is a good rail link to London (although the same could be said of Farnborough) and I think nicer people live there too. Farnborough used to be OK, but is just getting nasty now. There is a big problem with groups of bored and destructive youths and it's not nice late at night. Farnborough has better shopping facilities though.

Farnham is smaller, prettier and definatly preferable to Farnborough which is full of chavs. There's also a lot of military locally which CAN make for a colourful fri/sat night.
