how can i stop these goddam adverts on my laptop?

drive cleaner and other stuff keeps appearing on my laptop ive run scans and removed errors my popup blocker is on and my antivirus is runnig fine please help

The best way to remove unwanted programs from your computer is to remove it from registry. If you are comfortable with manually editing registry, otherwise use registry cleaning software like RegScrubXP to remove the entries of offending
software from registry and then use a cleaning software like ccleaner to remove other files such as exes, dlls etc created by the offending program.

downlod + install + run it.
When you get in the software window.
Click on user defined problems button.
It will display all entries in windows registry under different categories. So scroll down the list till you reach a category company. In this category look at the names in full key, and Main key. If you locate the name there, then check the box in front
of its entry and press the button Fix selected entries.
It should remove the entry from the registry.

After that you will need another software to remove other files created by the program on your computer. It is ccleaner, if you do not have it already; read how to use it and then download it from here.

It sounds like some malware has been installed on your computer.Go to your control panel/add remove programs see if there is something there that you know shouldn't be. If so try to remove it. It may not let you, because the program is always running in the background. If it doesn't let you hit ctrl+alt+del which will bring up your task manager check in the application tab and see if it shows up there if it is click it and then click end process. If it not in that window click processes and click the program name then end process don't close the task manager yet because chances are it will show back up in the window almost imediatly. This is why they are so hard to get off your computer. You can not remove a program that is running.
If none of the above has worked for you restart your computer and keep hitting F8 this will bring you to some more options, go to start in safe mode and hit enter. This will start your computer with only the bare bones applications running that way you can remove that nasty little piece of malware.
Make sure you get some good anti-spyware along with your anti-virus update and scan alot!
Also even if the anti-spyware won't remove the malicous program it will tell you exactly where it is located on your computer. Just start in safemode and go and delete it.
