Garbage scavengers.
In the Philippines, they live in a landfill, dig plastics and metals that can be sold to the junkshop, and earns less than 2 dollars a day. They earn so badly that they eat the stale food seen in the landfill, even when they know that they'll get sick because of it. Try searching for "Payatas" when looking at Philippines websites. They are the real-life "untouchables".
