SOME (not all...as someone else stated) women cramp during the first trimester as the fertilized egg makes its way down from the fallopian tubes to the uterus, to implant.
i cramped with my first...and not with my second.
if the pain continues constantly *and does not dull* contact your doc, immediately and see what they recommend.

more than likely is just the fetus implanting, nothing to worry about, everyone cramps in the first trimester. As long as no bleeding occurs you are fine....trust me I have had 2 miscarriages and 2 successful pregnancies so just relax and if your real concerned either call your ob doctor or just get some bed rest...

I had the same thing and docs told me not to worry. I even went to the ER and had an ultrasound I was so freaked out. The doctor told me that a miscarriage would be constant pain and not intermittent. If you are still worried it cant hurt to call doc. But I am sure baby is fine. Good luck!

it is normal to cramp during pregnancy, you have something growing in you. i made tris to the dr like every other day in the first trimester b/c i had cramping, they kept reassuring me that the baby was fine. if you start bleeding then i would go to er or call my dr, it could be early miscarriage!!
good luck and congrats.

Sometimes you get a dull cramp sensation from your uterus beging to strech. i had it with my first pregnancy and I went to the Er ( I didn't know any better) and that is what they told me. If you are very concerned go to the ER if you have any bleeding or the cramps are excruciating.

Stay in bed as much as possible and curtail activity. And call your doctor to let them know.
